National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24/7.

Telemynd: A comprehensive mental health solution that matches people with behavioral health specialist who are uniquely qualified to support them.  This is provided through TRICARE (Humana Military). Telemynd is a national network of therapists and prescribers who provide TRICARE-covered mental health services via secure video chat so that you and your family can get the care you need from wherever you are.  Active duty personnel need a referral from your Primary Care Provide. TRICARE Prime active duty family members do not need a referral.

Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLC): Licensed counselors that provide short-term, non-medical counseling services to service members and their families at no cost. Topics include; anger management, relationship issues, coping skills, relocation adjustment, sadness, grief and loss. With the exception of child abuse, domestic abuse and duty to warn, services are totally private and confidential. MFLC counselors can meet with you in person, or over the phone. Call the nearest one to your location to set up an appointment.

DSTRESS: 877-476-7734 - An anonymous Marine-to-Marine phone and chat support service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The line is staffed by veteran Marines, former Fleet Marine Force Navy Corpsmen, Marine spouses and family members, and licensed behavioral health counselors.  The goal of the DSTRESS Line is to help callers manage stress in all forms, ranging from relationship and career issues to deployment and financial problems, and develop the necessary skills required to cope with the widely-varying challenges of life in the Corps.


National Guard Family Assistance Centers: MOU between NG and USMC so recruiters can access family assistance centers. FAC provide 8 essential services; crisis intervention and referral, legal resources and referral, financial resources and referral, TRICARE resources and help, ID cards and DEERS, Community Information and Outreach, EFMP help, and Emergency Family Assistance Center in case of a local emergency. Community Counseling Program: Marines, Sailors, and their families may access help directly through Community Counseling Program. There is no wrong door for getting help. Counselors conduct screenings, actively assess needs, provide counseling, and connect Marines and families with additional resources through referrals and direct handoffs between programs and facilities. Virtual support is available through the Beaufort, SC office.

Stephen A. Cohen Military Family Center:

Provides in-person therapy as well as tele-health. There are 24 clinics across 16 states. 

As an active duty service member (including Guard and Reserves) Cohen Veterans Network is ready to help you overcome some of the mental health challenges you may face on a daily basis. We know the challenges of stigma still exist, and that the struggles to find civilian providers who understand the military journey are real. Many of the staff at our Cohen Clinics have served, or are part of military families – and all go through extensive military mental health training. 

Our clinics offer specialized therapy for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment issues, anger, grief and loss, and other concerns you may be facing. Our mission is to help you and your family get back to better. You can count on our Cohen Clinics to provide the highest-quality, most accessible care – regardless of your role in service. 

Eligibility: POST-9/11 VETERANS including those from the National Guard/Reserves, regardless of occupational specialty, discharge status, or service length.

SERVICE MEMBERS of all branches including the National Guard/Reserves, regardless of activation status. *Active Duty need TRICARE referral.
